U.S. Gulf slick spreads west, BP tries another cover
ROBERT, Louisiana (Reuters) – BP Plc said on Monday it will make another attempt at containing oil gushing deep in the Gulf of Mexico, this time with a much smaller funnel than it tried before, as a massive slick threatened Louisiana shores west of the Mississippi Delta.

Second Dome Planned; Spill Drifts West
British Petroleum engineers attempting to contain the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico will try to lower a second containment dome at the site, reports The Times-Picayune .
