HOUSTON, May 3 (Reuters) – The flow rate of the oil leak in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico remains unchanged despite efforts to fix a failed blowout preventer, a BP spokesman said on Monday. U.S. pushes BP to check oil spill menacing Gulf coast
VENICE (La.), May 1 (Reuters) – The U.S. government pushed energy giant BP to ramp up its efforts to avert an environmental disaster that could cost billions of dollars as a huge oil spill reached coastal Louisiana, imperiling fish and shrimp breeding grounds and wetlands teeming with wildlife.
