While most of the news reports on BP’s oil geyser in the Gulf of Mexico have focused on the environmental impact of the oil, very few are talking about an equally serious issue, which is the impact this oil is going to have on human health. And to complicate the matter, BP is dumping dangerous dispersant chemicals on the oil that have been banned in other areas of the world because they can be even deadlier than the oil. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. talks about some of the potential impacts we could witness as a result of this oil spill with Dr. Riki Ott, one of the leading experts on the impact of oil spills on human health.
