This is Coast Guard footage of the controlled burns they’ve had to do as part of containing the massive oil spill that continues to grow out of control in the Gulf of Mexico.
The US coast guard is searching for 11 missing workers after an oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. Authorities say a boat carrying over 100 survivors has docked in Louisiana. Several others were airlifted to hospitals, and at least three are in a critical condition. The platform remains ablaze hours after the blast. It’s unclear what caused the explosion.
