Oil spill affects DeKalb
The oil leak in the Gulf could be a double-edged sword for tourism in DeKalb County. DeKalb County Tourism Director John Dersham said the county is already seeing a drop in tourists from northern states who often stop by en route to summer vacations in Florida or – especially the Alabama Coast.
