BP: Oil containment efforts resume after ship fire
A drill ship resumed siphoning off oil gushing from a blown-out well in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday after a bolt of lightning struck the vessel and ignited a fire that halted containment efforts, the company said.

VENICE, La., June 7 (UPI) — BP is working to boost its cleanup operation by using two more methods to capture oil that has spewed into the Gulf of Mexico since April 20, the company said.
