US President Barack Obama is to set up a commission to investigate the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The move’s been used in the wake of other national disasters. It comes after warnings the leaking oil may reach the Florida coastline. BP, which ran the rig, has since managed to attach a pipe to contain the leak. However, experts warn it could face a clean up bill of billions.
