NASA Satellites Capture Growing Oil Spill
NASA’s Terra and Aqua satellites have captured images of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, which began April 20, 2010, with the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon BP oil rig. In time lapse, the video reveals a space-based view of the evolution of the oil spill through May 24. The oil slick appears greyish-beige in the image.

This clip shows the ROV (remotely operated vehicle) backs away from the BOP (blowout preventer) and is going to get a new hydraulic saw that doesn’t leak. The ROV bumps into something down there you can see the whole thing shakes. They drop the tool down gently and head to the surface probably for more hydraulic fluid and a new tool. @Youbian It could seriously disrupt the ecosystem though. I mean the earth had the earth had the oil deep under the ocean floor for a reason. curtain ocean life could go extinct. To be honest I agree with you and think that this was done on purpose to challenge the question of how much can humans effect the earth negatively. It is an attempt to promote the Cap and trade policies.

I had an idea to completely rip out all that piping down there and lower a giant horizontal concrete slab over the hole on the ocean floor.
Trust me, they can do this and stop the leak. Greed is the reason they won’t use my idea.
They want to try and cap it in a way where they can tap back into it to get more oil.

I asked a man, “Who does the Earth belong to?” He thought for a while and answered, “I guess it belongs to all of us.” I answered, ” Wrong! According to the Holy Bible, the Earth belongs to God; and those who pollute it go to hell.” I believe the problem is, that BP was told (by our President) to “plug” the well, but BP wanted to “cap” the well, so that they could continue collecting oil at great financial profit.
Let’s all get in our HUMMERS and go to the nearest BP and protest.
