Alternate habitats for migrating birds considered
Additional habitat for migrating birds will be created in the coming weeks and months north of the Gulf of Mexico coastline to lure birds into stopping there instead of areas oiled from the Deepwater Horizon rig gusher, federal and state wildlife officials say.
