BP (BP) says the costs of the oil spill to date is .43B, and it’s too early to quantify liabilities. BP says it’s not aware of a reason for its shares to drop, and says the company is “strong”. BP shareholders filed a class-action lawsuit based on claims that the company mislead investors prior to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico…Old Republic (ORI) and PMA Capital (PMACA) announced a 5M merger agreement. Old Republic will acquire all of PMA’s outstanding common stock…Target (TGT) increased its quarterly dividend 47% to 25c from 17c.
