newsbusters.org ABC political strategist, and prominent Democrat, James Carville appeared on Wednesday’s Good Morning America to condemn Barack Obama’s response to the oil spill. A very emotional Carville surprised host George Stephanopoulos, a friend and former colleague in the Clinton White House, by shouting, “And it just looks like he’s not involved in this! Man, you have got to get down here and take control of this!” [Audio available here.] Carville, a resident of Louisiana, attacked, “Put somebody in charge of this and get this thing moving! We’re about to die down here!”

@realvipul IBP will continue to stop the oil leak. It is the President’s job to clean up the pollution from the oil spill, the oil. The president is not doing his job in protecting the US from oil that is killing our fish, other wildlife and harming the enviornment. Not to mentiion the jobs and the economy that are affected in this area. Do we really need more unemployment?

@TheChgoBroker You’re a partisan hack. Many people died and suffered in Katrina, in their football stadium they died and starved without any relief. People were on their roofs and paddling through the streets. None of that is happening here. You don’t even know what resources Obama has sent to the Gulf and I highly doubt you voted for him.

I’m not trying to start any arguments with any of you. But, can anyone PLEASE tell me where I can find a video with James Carville bitching about the disaster of Hurricane Katrina. I’m interested to know if he was this adamant about that disaster. After all, the storm went right through New Orleans.

Not at all dramatic, this spill means death. It is not only oil but gas as well. The “smell’ is toxic, people are already having breathing issues. It will kill the eco system, the animals and plants. It will infiltrate the water supply. Bad weather will mean opportunity for fires from lightnings……
All Carville cares about is chipping away at Obama to help get Hilary elected. (Which is fine with me) Some of you commenters need to quit being naive and see what Carville is really doing. He doesn’t care about Obama not being there.
