The worst part is that so many of the people I know are like “It’s over already they capped it and 80% is plugged and the rest is later this summer, so shut up.” However people seem to forget that there is ocean floor leakage already. I just gotta say that people REALLY eat up what they are told and do not look into things themselves…

Maybe, but at least 7,000 barrels of oil will continue to pour into the Gulf every day until mid-July at the earliest.
In the coming days and weeks, these efforts should capture up to 90 percent of the oil leaking out of the well .
President Obama boldly predicts that most of the oil leaking the Gulf of Mexico will be contained by the end of this month.
