“It’s like losing a loved one,” says a devastated fisherman of the damage caused by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. “I moved 1200 miles to come to an island in the middle of nowhere because it was so beautiful and the fishing was great and the people are wonderful, and now everyone is stressed out. This is going to fundamentally change southern Louisiana.”

“my whole life doing sumthing wid water.” thumbs up.
I was a Charter Captain/fly rod instructor on the Florida Gulf coast from ’93 to 2002. I live up on the hill now, hundreds of miles away. But I feel like my wife has been stabbed, she’s dying, the doctor tells me I’ve got no right to see her or what he’s doing to her. I can’t see the X-rays. The attacker is in charge of the surgury. My sympathies to you friend. I can’t believe anyone is not outraged over this whole terrible situation, so easily distracted by daily entertainment. This is the End.
