@muddyriverdogz The oil is full of grit and coming out of the riser pipe at a higher pressure than it was designed for – basically sanding the pipe walls thinner. Eventually, the riser will blow. It’s now a race to cap the well using the second well before that happens.

How would the spill go from 5,000 barrels a day to 60,000 a day?Are they suspecting the well could blow out?
