Obviously BP & Halliburton…were not prepared for this kind of Disaster in the Ocean!!!…. They keep coming with these, Out of the Air Ideas, that for the most part have Not Worked at all! We have been telling them for YEARS that this would eventually happen…but they ignored our warnings and actually Ridiculed the people who tried to stop their Greedy abuse to our Oceans! Now, LOOK AT WE GOT!

Now they are going to try to fill it with garbage to block the flow of oil, though I’m fairly certain giving BP permission to fire golf balls and tire shreds into the ocean is a bad move all in itself. Either way, lets just hope people can stop trying to find blame and start finding solutions!

On March 10, 2009 Obama’s Interior Department specifically the Mineral Management Service (MMS), exempted BP Drilling From Environmental Review then the agency rubber stamped BPs drilling plan. This happened under Obama and when is the Captain going to take blame for the ship under his command?

@dkkght46 This is why the oil disaster will be a BIGGER follie for not only citizens that rely on the GULF for an income, but America as a whole. Damage to the ECO system. Lost revenue due to the fact that vacationers have aborted plans to spend time on the GULF(leisure activity-name one). Gulf coast states will suffer greatly. The EAST COAST fishermen and vacationers could suffer. The US economy, already on the mend, will be crippled!!! Thank BP. Not President Obama!!!
@OnTheLimits BP was drilling for profit. BP was negligent in the way of implementing fail safe procedures in the event of an oil spill. In this specific case, an entire rig was lost. Result = oil polluting the GULF!!! BP is responsible. If oil was still being pumped from the well(without incident), BP would no doubt claim the profit!!! BP should own up to ITS’ responsibility. Simple, the FEMA director is Craig Fugate the ex-Director for Florida Emergency management and like Paulison both are emergency responders. Why is Fugate touring flooding in KY & TN? Instead he should be heading up the response to the Louisiana event. Another complacent Obama moment

@OnTheLimits When it is declared an emergency of national significance it then becomes the property of the federal govt. Learn about the incident command system (ICS), the national response plan (NRP) or anything about emergency management. By your language in your posting you can tell your a product of the public school system.

No wonder it took him nearly two weeks before getting on the ball with the Gulf oil spill. He’s the top recipient of British Petroleum donations in the last election cycle. Now watch him demonize them every chance he gets. If he wants to lead by example, he should return their money.
Now that the oil has been released into the sea,it is a matter of recovering it again,my idea would be to use modified dredgers to remove the oil from the surface before refining the sea water out and the normal process. Where dredgers normally feed from the sea floor they can be set to sea level for this operation. I hereby claim this idea first ! SJH
