Interesting how big a deal is made when its in America but when this sort of thing happens in Africa or the Middle East or further afield, the perceived & actual ‘cost’ is much less?
The’Economist’s ‘spill baby spill’ article says it all in my opinion although it says that Exxon Valdes was 11m gallons compared to aprox 200,000 gallons a day.. but of course it will only take 50-60 days before it equals the Exxon Valdes!
By which time fisheries will be DEAD & local ecology damaged beyond repair!
